Para celebrarlo he disfrazado de fantasmas a 4 muñecas chelsea de mi colección con cosas que tenía en casa. Así que os invito a realizar esta sencilla manualidad y a adivinar quiénes son las 4 muñequitas chelseas que se esconden debajo de los disfraces. ¿Te animas a participar?

To celebrate I dress in ghost costumes to 4 of my chelsea dolls using things that I had at home. So I invite you to make this simple DIY and guess who are the 4 chelsea dolls hidden under costumes. Ready to participe?

Si te han gustado sus disfraces de fantasmas, puedes hacerlos tu mismo. Y lo mejor de todo es que sólo necesitas cosas que seguramente ya tendrás en casa ¡es fantástico reutilizar cosas!

Materiales

-pañuelos tisus

-botones pequeños

-rotuladores

-celo (o pegamento)

Pasos a seguir

-Dobla el pañuelo de papel por la mitad uniendo dos esquinas para obtener un triángulo.

-Coloca sobre la muñequita para calcular dónde debes colocar los botones (ojos).

-Pégalos con celo de doble cara o con pegamento.

-Luego usa los rotuladores para dibujar la boca, nariz, cejas, etc. dejando volar tu imaginación :-P ¡y listo!

If you have like the ghost costume, do it yourself. To make this very simple DIY you only need things that probably already have at home. It's great to reuse things!

Materials

-tissues

-small buttons

-markers

-zeal (or glue)

Steps to follow

-Fold the tissue paper in half by joining two corners to obtain a triangle.

-Placed on the doll to calculate where you have to place the buttons (eyes).

-Glue them with double-sided heat or glue.

-Then use the markers to draw mouth, nose, eyebrows, etc. leaving your imagination:-P And done!

Buscando a Barbie... encontré nuevas barbies. Ahora están llegando a las jugueterías las nuevas Barbie Chic, pero afortunadamente todavía pueden encontrarse las muñecas de la wave anterior. Así que he aprovechado la ocasión para hacerles una fotografía a todas juntas para enseñároslas aquí en el blog en un post rápido.

Looking for Barbie... I found new barbies. The new Barbie Chic are now coming to the toy stores, but fortunately we can still found the dolls from the previous wave. So I have taken the opportunity to take a picture all together to show them in this quick post.

No me rindo, no puedo. Me encanta la barbie Made to Move del top naranja con su pelo rubio rizado. Sé que podría comprarla por internet pero quiero elegirla personalmente. Y aunque no he tenido suerte con ella, sí he encontrado 4 nuevas muñecas en la línea Barbie Chic.

I do not give up, I can't. I love the Barbie Made to Move Orange Top by her curly blond hair.  I know that I could buy it online but I would personally choose. And although I have not had luck with it, I have found 4 new dolls from the Barbie Chic line.

Las dos primeras muñecas tienen el molde de cabeza 2014 Millie playline, la tercera tiene el molde de cabeza 2015 curvy y la cuarta el molde de cabeza 2000 Kayla/Lea. Todas llevan un vestido corto sin mangas con diferentes estampados florales, muy veraniego.

The first two dolls have the 2014 Millie playline head mould, the third has the 2015 Curvy head mold and the fourth is 2000 Kayla/Lea. All carry a very summery sleeveless short dress with different floral prints.

Me encanta la nueva Barbie Chic del vestido rojo, tanto que he estado muy tentada de añadirla a mi colección... aunque finalmente no ha sido así. Intento centrarme en mi objetivo: encontrar la Barbie Movimientos sin Límite del top naranja.

I love the new Barbie Chic in the red dress, so that I was very tempted of add her to my barbie collection... though finally it has not been thus. I try to focus on my goal: find Barbie Made to Move Orange top.

Aunque no tengan nombre me gusta la idea de que Mattel incorpore a este línea de muñecas diferentes moldes de cabeza y tonos de piel, más allá de las clásicas amigas de Barbie. Creo que es una pena que no hayan añadido también más variedad con los tipos de cuerpo.

Although they have not name I like the idea that Mattel incorporated to this line of dolls different moulds of head and tones of skin, more beyond of them classic friends of Barbie. Well, they does not have also added more variety with the new body types and I think it is a pity.

Y esta ha sido mi última búsqueda, sin éxito, de mi ansiada barbie del top naranja. Pero ¿qué os parecen estas chicas? Mis favoritas son la barbie del vestido negro con flores, por su pelo claro y raya al medio; y la barbie chic oriental, por sus rasgos étnicos y su pelo oscuro con dos tonos. También me gustan los dos vestidos que llevan ambas barbies ¿Y tú, tienes alguna favorita?

And this has been my last doll hunting, unsuccessfully, for my long-awaited barbie Made to Move Orange Top. But what do you think of these girls? My favorite are the barbie in the black floral dress, by her middle-striped light blond hair; and the Barbie Chic in red dress by her eyes, her skin tone and her two-toned dark hair. I also like the two floral dresses that both new barbies wear. And do you have any favorite?

Personalmente me encantan las barbies silkstone. Todas usan el molde de cabeza nostalgic y no dejan indiferente a nadie, es más, suelen despertar sentimientos fuertes. Y así, o te llegan al corazón o no te gustan nada en absoluto. Pero al igual que todas las barbies, al sacarlas de su caja ganan mucho. Es cuando realmente se pueden apreciar sus cualidades, porque no hay dos muñecas iguales.

I personally love the silkstone barbies. All them use nostalgic barbie head mould and leave no one indifferent, indeed, they tend to arouse strong feelings. And so, they reach your heart or you don't like these dolls at all. But like all the barbie dolls, they gain much when are removed from their box. It is when really you can appreciate their characteristics, because no two same dolls.

Pero objetivamente hablando son barbies de colección que se caracterizan por sus atuendos sumamente elegantes, sus cuidados detalles y sobretodo por estar hechas de un material único que es el que les da nombre: silkstone.

El sombrero es una elegante pamela decorada con tul y tres flores fucsias y rosas. Los zapatos son stilettos abiertos por detrás. Me encantan, le dan un toque sofisticado, elegante y muy femenino a sus pies.

The hat is an elegant pamela decorated with tulle and three fuchsia and pink flowers. The shoes are open-back stilettos. I love them, they give her feet a sophisticated, elegant and very feminine touch.

Sus uñas están delicadamente pintadas.

Her nails are delicately painted.

Adoro su naricilla respingona y sus pestañas modeladas (no son reroot). El lunar o marca de belleza junto a su ojo izquierdo le añade un toque de coquetería a su mirada. Lleva el pelo recogido, lo cual realza su largo cuello de cisne.

I love her scant pug and her modeled eyelashes (not rerooted). The mole or beauty mark next to her left eye adds a touch of coquetry to her look. She has collected hair, which enhances her long neck of swan.

Como toda silkie, como cariñosamente me gusta llamarlas, es polifacética y enigmática. Y quizá sea esta la razón por la que despierta sentimientos encontrados entre los fans de Barbie. ¿Qué piensas de esta chica?

As all silkies, as affectionately I like to call them, she is multifaceted and enigmatic. And this is perhaps the reason why awakens mixed feelings between the Barbie fans. What you think of this girl?

Seguramente ya os habréis dado cuenta, pero he mejorado el formato de mis fotos. Ahora son más grandes y cuadradas. Por ello he tenido que adaptar el ancho del blog, aumentándolo hasta 1150 pixeles. Pero es una gran noticia, porque ahora mis fotos se pueden ver y explorar en detalle en mi galería de Flickr y espero que próximamente también en Instagram. Aunque por ahora en esta última sólo estoy probando (y es muy complicado subir fotos sin perder calidad).

Espero que disfrutéis con estas mejoras.

Surely you've already has, but I've improved the format of my photos. Now they are larger and more square. For this reason I've had to adjust the width of the blog, increasing it up to 1150 pixels. But it is great news, because now you can see and explore my photos in detail in my Flickr gallery and I hope that soon also in Instagram. Although by now I am testing this one (and it is very complicated to upload photos without losing too much quality).

I hope to enjoy with these improvements.

Las Silkies que se resistían a salir de su caja

Este hermoso gran gato persa es el rey de mi vitrina y tiene la gentileza de compartir "su territorio" con mis barbies más glamurosas :-)

This gorgeous big Persian Cat is the king of my cabinet and he has the courtesy of share 'their territory' with my most glamorous barbie dolls :-)

Ya se sabe que para todo hay una primera vez, pero en el caso de mis silkstones parecía no llegar el momento de sacarlas de su caja. En varias ocasiones lo intenté pero sin éxito.

Primero porque sólo tenía una y estaba tan linda dentro de su preciosa caja rosa que me daba pena sacarla. Así que no pude hacerlo y me auto engañaba diciéndome "mañana, mañana". Y luego según fueron llegando las demás a mi colección, armonizaban tan bien unas junto a las otras que seguí disfrutándolas dentro de sus cajas.

Finalmente, cuando me propuse más en serio deboxear una silkstone por primera vez me pregunté a mi misma "vale pero... ¿cuál de ellas?". Y de nuevo no era capaz de sacar a ninguna jajaja. Aunque tentaciones tenía muchas, especialmente cuando veía fotos preciosas de silkstones en otros blogs como Bonequea y Barbie Ropa y Accesorios.

We know that for everything there is a first time, but in case my silkstones it seemed no time to remove them from their boxes. On several occasions I tried but without success.

First because I only had one and she was so cute in her nice pink case that made me sad remove it . So I could not do it and I self deceived saying "tomorrow, tomorrow". And then as the others were  reaching my collection, they harmonized as well together to the others that I continued enjoying them in their boxes.

Finally, when I decided to seriously debox a silkstone for the first time, I wondered to myself "Ok but... which of them?" And again I was not able to get any lol. Although I had many temptations, especially when I saw precious photos of silkstones in other blogs as Bonequea and Barbie Ropa y Accesorios.

Os presento oficialmente a mis chicas favoritas. Izquierda, BFMC Luncheon, mi silkie pelirroja. Derecha, BFMC Fashionably Floral, mi primera silkie y muy especial para mi porque me la regaló mi chico por nuestro aniversario.

I present you officially my favorite girls. Left, BFMC Luncheon, my redhead silkie. Right, BFMC Fashionably Floral, my first silkie and very special for my because my guy gave me for our anniversary.

Izquierda, BFMC Red Dress, mi primera y por ahora única silkie afroamericana. También muy especial, pues me la regalaron mis padres por Navidad. Derecha, BFMC Mermaid Gown, la cual tiene algo que me enamoró, o mejor dicho, me enamoró todo en ella.

Left, BFMC Red Dress, my first and for now the only African American silkie. Also very special, because my parents gave me for Christmas. Right, BFMC Mermaid Gown, which has something that I fell in love with, or rather, I fell in love with everything in her.

Y aquí está ella, la primera en unirse a mi colección. No tiene nombre, ninguna lo tiene, pero sólo por ahora. Tras mucho meditarlo (demasiado) ha sido la elegida para ser (también) la primera en salir de su caja ¿La razón? Su sombrero, sencillamente tenía muchas ganas de verla con él :-) 

Sin embargo no fui capaz de hacerlo :-( ¡me la regaló mi chico! Y a él le gustan en la caja...

Así que vuelta a empezar con mi dilema ¿elijo a otra? ¿O la elijo a ella? ¡Qué tortura de dudas! Pero esta vez sucedió algo: Quim de World of Dolls me recomendó una silkstone articulada. Bien, como sabréis actualmente hay 3 silkstones rubias articuladas ¡y a mi me gustan las tres!

Me suele pasar por aquello de que cada una tiene algo que las hace únicas, así que si quiero elegir una silkie articulada (algún día) necesito tocar, fotografiar y conocer a fondo a mis propias silkstones. Sino ¿cómo voy a elegir, por ejemplo, entre la de piel pálida y la de tez ligeramente sonrosada?

Así que esta vez tenía el empujón que necesitaba para dar el paso y...

And here is she, the first to join in my collection. She has no name, none has it, but only for now. After much think about it (too much) she has been chosen to (also) be the first out of the box. The reason? Her hat, was simply I eager to see her with it :-)

However I was not able to do it :-( My guy gave me! And he likes in the box...

So back again with my dilemma, would choose another? Or do I choose it to her? What torture of doubt! But something happened this time: Quim (from World of Dolls) recommended me an articulated silkstone. Well, as you know currently there are 3 articulated blondes silkstones. And I like all three!

I usually pass by that each doll a has something that makes her unique, so if I want to choose a silkie articulated (some day) I need touch, photograph and get to know to my own silkstone barbies. But how am I going to choose, for example, between the pale-skin doll and the slightly rosy skin doll?

So this time I had the push I needed to take the step and...

...y pasaron varios días más jajaja

Y su precioso sombrero, que seguía en la bolsa de plástico, parecía decirme "eh, tú ¿no vas a cogerme y ver cómo soy realmente?"

Incluye un par de botines, un vestido de manga larga, unos leggins estampados, un chaleco sin magas y una original cantimplora con forma de corazón. Estoy súper contenta con esta adquisición porque es uno de los dos packs de ropas que no pude comprar el año pasado, así que al encontrarlo de casualidad en mi Doll Hunting en Madrid fue una gran sorpresa.

It includes a pair of boots, a long-sleeve dress long, a patterned leggings, a sleeveless vest and an original heart-shaped water bottle. I am super happy with this acquisition because it is one of the two Barbie Fashion Packs that I could not buy last year. When I found it by chance on my Madrid Doll Hunting, it was a big surprise.

En el reverso del embalaje hay una imagen con dos Barbies fashionistas llevando esta ropa ¡están preciosas!

On the back of the packaging there is an image with two Barbies Fashionistas wearing this clothing. They are precious!

Como tengo a Barbie y Teresa Fashionistas en mi colección, en un primer momento pensé en ponerles los mismos atuendos, exactamente igual que en esta foto ampliada del reverso. Pero finalmente decidí elegir una muñeca articulada con los labios de color fresa (sigue leyendo para descubrir quien ha sido la elegida).

As I have Barbie and Teresa Fashionistas in my collection, at first I thought to put them on the same costumes, exactly as in this enlarged photo on the back. But finally I decided to choose an articulated barbie doll with strawberry lips (continues reading to discover who has been the chosen).

Me gusta todo de este pack. Adoro la cantimplora (o bolso) porque es preciosa y además no tenía ninguna. Me parece muy original y polifacética. Continuando con los botines son fabulosos y también son los primeros que parecen abrigar mucho los pies de las muñecas :-D

Por otra parte, el vestido tiene doble uso ya que se puede usar como vestido o como camiseta larga sobrepuesta a los leggins. ¡Es genial!

I like all of this pack. I love the water bottle (or bag) because is beautiful and also I had not any. I find it very original and multifaceted. Continuing with the ankle boots are fabulous and are also the first that seem to harbor much the dolls feet :-D

On the other hand, the dress has double use because it can be used as dress or as long t-shirt overlying to the leggings. Is great!

¿Qué os puedo decir de los leggins? Estoy enamorada de ellos, de hecho yo misma los uso muchísimo (no estos mismos, claro). Así que estoy feliz de que mis muñes también puedan llevar leggins de su medida. Especialmente porque estos tienen un estampado precioso. 

What can I tell about these leggings? I am in love with them, in fact I wear leggins a lot (not these same, of course). So I am happy that my dolls also can wear leggings of their size. Especially because these ones have a nice print.

Nada es lo que parece. Y todo ha sido idea de mi chico, aunque todavía no sé porqué le he dejado "jugar" con mis barbies.

Yo estaba muy tranquila tomándole fotos a mis fashionistas para los test de talla cuando él vino y quiso unirse a la fiesta, pero a su manera. Y este ha sido el resultado... Pero recuerda que nada es lo que parece y ningún muñeco ha sufrido daño jajaja. Espero que diviertas tanto como yo :-D

Nothing is what it seems to be. And everything has been idea of my guy, but still I don't know why I have left him to play with my barbie dolls.

I was very calm taking photos to my fashionistas for the test of size when he came and wanted to join the party, but in his own way. And this has been the result... But remember that nothing is what it seems to be and no doll has been damage lol. I hope you has as much fun as me :-D

Pues sí, esta pose es obra de mi chico. Después de la primera, le comenté que no sería capaz de hacer una segunda pose provocativa y apta para todos los públicos. Y el resultado fue lo que el ha llamado "el balancín".

Yes, this new pose is work of my guy. After the first, I told he not be able to make a second provocative and suitable for all audiences pose. And the result was what he has called 'the seesaw'.

Y por supuesto también tiene una explicación sencilla: Barbie y Asha están jugando al balancín. Como no me lo podía creer, me dijo que lo probara y efectivamente ¡se balancean! jajaja

Dicen que no hay dos sin tres, pero yo pensé que las dos poses anteriores habían sido una casualidad. Así que desafié a mi chico a imaginar una nueva pose provocativa e inocente. ¡Y tachán! De nuevo me sorprendió.

They say no two without three, but I thought the previous two poses has been a fluke. So I challenged  my guy to imagine a new provocative and innocent pose. And presto! I was surprised again.

Su explicación: Barbie y Teresa son equilibristas que están ensayando...

Tras esto le pregunté ¿sinceramente, cuántas poses podrías inventar en dos minutos más de tiempo? Veinticinco... Y le creo, esta vez le creo :-)

After this I asked him: Honestly, how many poses could you invent in two minutes time? Twenty-five... And I know, this time I know it is true :-)

Buscando a Barbie, Doll hunting

Buscando una Barbie muy concreta, he encontrado muchas cosas interesantes... Y aunque siempre es emocionante descubrir que las nuevas barbies han llegado a las tiendas, es mejor todavía cuando los sets incluyen accesorios tan chulos.

Looking for a specific Barbie, I found many interesting things... And although always is exciting discover that the new barbies have arrived to the toy stores, is better still when the sets include accessories so cool.

Me encanta la nueva Barbie Pink Passport Scooter. Esta versión es mucho más divertida que las anteriores, al menos en mi opinión, pues la moto es multicolor. Tiene un maletero que se puede abrir y cerrar. Además de la muñeca y unas pegatinas incluye cámara de fotos, mochila, gafas de sol bicolores, móvil, casco, perrito, comedero y hueso.

La mochila es igual a una en los nuevos packs de modas, pero de otro color. Mientras que esta es fucsia la otra es rosa claro. Personalmente me gustan ambas y me encantaría incluirlas en mi colección. Esto es porque me gustan mucho y sus respectivos packs / sets y porque estoy convencida de que tienen un tamaño compatible también con las barbies curvy! ¿Opinas lo mismo?

I love the new Barbie Pink Passport Scooter. As the bike is multicolored, this version is much more fun than the previous one, at least in my opinion. It has a trunk that can open and close. In addition to the doll and a few stickers includes a camera, backpack, bicolor sunglasses, mobile, helmet, puppy, feeder and bone.

The backpack is equal to the one in the new fashion packs, but in a different color. While this is fuchsia  the other is light pink. Personally I like both and I would love to include them in my collection. This is because I really like and their respective packs / sets and because I am convinced that they also are curvy-size compatible!! Do you think the same?

Me gusta el nuevo playset Barbie y su bici. Barbie lleva unos shorts muy chulos y un top rosa. La bicicleta tiene un cesto "de mimbre" que se puede poner y quitar. El casco con estrellas es muy bonito pero lo que más me gusta es la botella de agua. 

I like the new Barbie Glam Bike play-set. Barbie wears very cool shorts and a pink top. The bike has a 'wicker-like' basket that you can put and remove. The star helmet is very nice but what I like most is the water bottle.

Y aquí está Barbie Tokidoki ¡inconfundible! Me parece una muñeca preciosa pero me asusta que tenga el flequillo tan lleno de pegamento. He sufrido esto mismo con varias de mis fashionistas playline (como Barbie Va Va Violet)y la solución ha sido cepillarles con mucho cuidado y paciencia el pelo hasta eliminarle parte del pegamento, porque finalmente no fue necesario lavarle la cabeza.

Here is Barbie Tokidoki. Unmistakable! I think she is a beautiful doll, but it scares me to have the bangs so full of glue. I have had this same problem with several of my fashionistas (such as Barbie Va Va Violet) and the solution has been to brush her hair with great care and patience to remove part of the glue, because finally it was not necessary to wash her head.

Pero creo que no me atrevería a hacer lo mismo con una barbie de colección tan especial como esta. ¿Tú le lavarías el pelo a esta muñeca?

But I think that I would not dare to do the same with a doll as special as this collector barbie. Do you wash her hair to this doll?

Estoy buscando la Barbie Movimientos sin Límite Rizos Perfectos (la del top naranja), aunque por ahora no he tenido éxito :-( En cambio encontré la nueva Barbie Movimientos sin Límite con ropas de profesiones: científica, cantante y futbolista.

Es fabuloso que Mattel lance al mercado nuevas opciones en este línea de muñecas, además de las muñecas con la ropa de yoga. Espero que sigan ampliándola con nuevas sorpresas ¿tal vez cuerpos MtM curvy, tall y petite? ¿algún Ken articulado?

I am looking for Barbie Made to Move Orange Top, although by now I have not had success :-( On the other hand I found the new Barbie MtM with career outfits: scientific, singer and footballer.

Is fabulous that Mattel release new options in MtM line, in addition to the dolls in yoga clothes. I hope to they continue to expand with new surprises perhaps curvy, petite and tall MtM? Or some articulated Ken dolls?

La nueva Barbie Dentista Infantil tiene una clínica dental muy moderna. Me encantan el mueble circular, el asiento y los pequeños accesorios médicos. La niña es súper divertida, tiene ropa de verdad y zapatos. Tiene una bonita sonrisa pero... también una caries ¡rápido, un dentista!

The new Barbie Dentist has a very modern dental clinic. I love the circular furniture, the seat and the small medical accessories. The girl is super fun, has truth clothes and shoes that you can put and remove. She has a nice smile but... also a decay. Quickly, a dentist!

Todas tienen algo especial, de la primera me gustaron su ropa y sus chanclas. De la segunda me encantó su pelo ligeramente ondulado y de la tercera su top "Mermaid at Heart" y sus zapatillas deportivas... un momento ¡en realidad me gusta todo! Son tan bonitas...

They all have something special, from the first I liked her clothing and her flip-flops. From the second I loved her slightly wavy hair and from the third her top "Mermaid at Heart" and her trainers...  wait a time. Actually I like all! They are so nice...

Aquí están las tres juntas en las fotos promocionales. Estaba señalando (casi) tooodo lo que me gusta, pero es tarea imposible porque cuanto más señalaba más me daba cuenta de que me gusta todo jajaja.

Here you are the three together in the promotional photos. I was pointing out (almost) eeeverything what I like, but it is impossible because the more pointed out more I realized I like every detail lol.

También encontré varios packs de Barbie Mega Blocks. Creo que no son novedad pero me parecieron muy monos. Como soy muy animalera, me gusta especialmente el pack Barbie Mega Blocks Día de Equitación con los caballos :-) pero Barbie Mega Blocks Babby Sitter también.

I also found several packs of Barbie Mega Blocks. I think they are not new but I thought they were very cute. As I like animals very much, I particularly like the Barbie Mega Blocks Day at Stables Pack with the mare and foal :-) But Barbie Mega Blocks Babby Sitter too.

Y hasta aquí este post. Porque sí, volví a casa con las manos vacías :-) Con tantas novedades llegando a las tiendas es difícil no quererlas todas. Pero eso no es posible, ya sabéis que el dinero, el espacio y el tiempo son limitaciones que obligan a elegir bien.

Así que tras consultarlo con la almohada he llegado a la conclusión de que me gusta todo, así de sencillo. Y así de complicado elegir jajaja.

And so far this post. Because Yes, I returned home with empty hands :-) With so many new products coming to toy stores, it is hard to not want them all. But that is not possible, you know that money, space and time are constraints that force to choose well.

So, after consulting with the pillow I have come to the conclusion that, I just like everything. And thus complicated to choose lol.
