Barbie Made to Move muñeca patinadora, Barbie Packs de Accesorios (sushi, música, hamaca, barbacoa, etc), Barbie The Look muñeca con perrito, bicicleta... son innumerables todas las novedades de 2017 que he podido encontrar estos días en las jugueterías.

He hecho muchísimas fotos, así que he elegido las más representativas.  Lamentablemente algunas de las fotos han salido borrosas y las he descartado.

Barbie Made to Move Skateboarder Doll, Barbie Accessory Packs (sushi, music, hammock, BBQ, etc), Barbie The Look Park Pretty, Barbie Bicycle... countless 2017innovations I could find these days in the toy stores.

I have made many photos, so I chose the most representative. Unfortunately some of the photos have come out blurry and I discarded them.

Photo review of Barbie BFMC Floral Dress. The wait has paid off because testing and going to try I managed to improve my photos.

Personalmente me encantan las barbies silkstone. Todas usan el molde de cabeza nostalgic y no dejan indiferente a nadie, es más, suelen despertar sentimientos fuertes. Y así, o te llegan al corazón o no te gustan nada en absoluto. Pero al igual que todas las barbies, al sacarlas de su caja ganan mucho. Es cuando realmente se pueden apreciar sus cualidades, porque no hay dos muñecas iguales.

I personally love the silkstone barbies. All them use nostalgic barbie head mould and leave no one indifferent, indeed, they tend to arouse strong feelings. And so, they reach your heart or you don't like these dolls at all. But like all the barbie dolls, they gain much when are removed from their box. It is when really you can appreciate their characteristics, because no two same dolls.

Pero objetivamente hablando son barbies de colección que se caracterizan por sus atuendos sumamente elegantes, sus cuidados detalles y sobretodo por estar hechas de un material único que es el que les da nombre: silkstone.

El sombrero es una elegante pamela decorada con tul y tres flores fucsias y rosas. Los zapatos son stilettos abiertos por detrás. Me encantan, le dan un toque sofisticado, elegante y muy femenino a sus pies.

The hat is an elegant pamela decorated with tulle and three fuchsia and pink flowers. The shoes are open-back stilettos. I love them, they give her feet a sophisticated, elegant and very feminine touch.

Sus uñas están delicadamente pintadas.

Her nails are delicately painted.

Adoro su naricilla respingona y sus pestañas modeladas (no son reroot). El lunar o marca de belleza junto a su ojo izquierdo le añade un toque de coquetería a su mirada. Lleva el pelo recogido, lo cual realza su largo cuello de cisne.

I love her scant pug and her modeled eyelashes (not rerooted). The mole or beauty mark next to her left eye adds a touch of coquetry to her look. She has collected hair, which enhances her long neck of swan.

Como toda silkie, como cariñosamente me gusta llamarlas, es polifacética y enigmática. Y quizá sea esta la razón por la que despierta sentimientos encontrados entre los fans de Barbie. ¿Qué piensas de esta chica?

As all silkies, as affectionately I like to call them, she is multifaceted and enigmatic. And this is perhaps the reason why awakens mixed feelings between the Barbie fans. What you think of this girl?

Seguramente ya os habréis dado cuenta, pero he mejorado el formato de mis fotos. Ahora son más grandes y cuadradas. Por ello he tenido que adaptar el ancho del blog, aumentándolo hasta 1150 pixeles. Pero es una gran noticia, porque ahora mis fotos se pueden ver y explorar en detalle en mi galería de Flickr y espero que próximamente también en Instagram. Aunque por ahora en esta última sólo estoy probando (y es muy complicado subir fotos sin perder calidad).

Espero que disfrutéis con estas mejoras.

Surely you've already has, but I've improved the format of my photos. Now they are larger and more square. For this reason I've had to adjust the width of the blog, increasing it up to 1150 pixels. But it is great news, because now you can see and explore my photos in detail in my Flickr gallery and I hope that soon also in Instagram. Although by now I am testing this one (and it is very complicated to upload photos without losing too much quality).

I hope to enjoy with these improvements.

Las Silkies que se resistían a salir de su caja

Este hermoso gran gato persa es el rey de mi vitrina y tiene la gentileza de compartir "su territorio" con mis barbies más glamurosas :-)

This gorgeous big Persian Cat is the king of my cabinet and he has the courtesy of share 'their territory' with my most glamorous barbie dolls :-)

Ya se sabe que para todo hay una primera vez, pero en el caso de mis silkstones parecía no llegar el momento de sacarlas de su caja. En varias ocasiones lo intenté pero sin éxito.

Primero porque sólo tenía una y estaba tan linda dentro de su preciosa caja rosa que me daba pena sacarla. Así que no pude hacerlo y me auto engañaba diciéndome "mañana, mañana". Y luego según fueron llegando las demás a mi colección, armonizaban tan bien unas junto a las otras que seguí disfrutándolas dentro de sus cajas.

Finalmente, cuando me propuse más en serio deboxear una silkstone por primera vez me pregunté a mi misma "vale pero... ¿cuál de ellas?". Y de nuevo no era capaz de sacar a ninguna jajaja. Aunque tentaciones tenía muchas, especialmente cuando veía fotos preciosas de silkstones en otros blogs como Bonequea y Barbie Ropa y Accesorios.

We know that for everything there is a first time, but in case my silkstones it seemed no time to remove them from their boxes. On several occasions I tried but without success.

First because I only had one and she was so cute in her nice pink case that made me sad remove it . So I could not do it and I self deceived saying "tomorrow, tomorrow". And then as the others were  reaching my collection, they harmonized as well together to the others that I continued enjoying them in their boxes.

Finally, when I decided to seriously debox a silkstone for the first time, I wondered to myself "Ok but... which of them?" And again I was not able to get any lol. Although I had many temptations, especially when I saw precious photos of silkstones in other blogs as Bonequea and Barbie Ropa y Accesorios.

Os presento oficialmente a mis chicas favoritas. Izquierda, BFMC Luncheon, mi silkie pelirroja. Derecha, BFMC Fashionably Floral, mi primera silkie y muy especial para mi porque me la regaló mi chico por nuestro aniversario.

Izquierda, BFMC Red Dress, mi primera y por ahora única silkie afroamericana. También muy especial, pues me la regalaron mis padres por Navidad. Derecha, BFMC Mermaid Gown, la cual tiene algo que me enamoró, o mejor dicho, me enamoró todo en ella.

Left, BFMC Red Dress, my first and for now the only African American silkie. Also very special, because my parents gave me for Christmas. Right, BFMC Mermaid Gown, which has something that I fell in love with, or rather, I fell in love with everything in her.

Y aquí está ella, la primera en unirse a mi colección. No tiene nombre, ninguna lo tiene, pero sólo por ahora. Tras mucho meditarlo (demasiado) ha sido la elegida para ser (también) la primera en salir de su caja ¿La razón? Su sombrero, sencillamente tenía muchas ganas de verla con él :-) 

Sin embargo no fui capaz de hacerlo :-( ¡me la regaló mi chico! Y a él le gustan en la caja...

Así que vuelta a empezar con mi dilema ¿elijo a otra? ¿O la elijo a ella? ¡Qué tortura de dudas! Pero esta vez sucedió algo: Quim de World of Dolls me recomendó una silkstone articulada. Bien, como sabréis actualmente hay 3 silkstones rubias articuladas ¡y a mi me gustan las tres!

Me suele pasar por aquello de que cada una tiene algo que las hace únicas, así que si quiero elegir una silkie articulada (algún día) necesito tocar, fotografiar y conocer a fondo a mis propias silkstones. Sino ¿cómo voy a elegir, por ejemplo, entre la de piel pálida y la de tez ligeramente sonrosada?

Así que esta vez tenía el empujón que necesitaba para dar el paso y...

And here is she, the first to join in my collection. She has no name, none has it, but only for now. After much think about it (too much) she has been chosen to (also) be the first out of the box. The reason? Her hat, was simply I eager to see her with it :-)

However I was not able to do it :-( My guy gave me! And he likes in the box...

So back again with my dilemma, would choose another? Or do I choose it to her? What torture of doubt! But something happened this time: Quim (from World of Dolls) recommended me an articulated silkstone. Well, as you know currently there are 3 articulated blondes silkstones. And I like all three!

I usually pass by that each doll a has something that makes her unique, so if I want to choose a silkie articulated (some day) I need touch, photograph and get to know to my own silkstone barbies. But how am I going to choose, for example, between the pale-skin doll and the slightly rosy skin doll?

So this time I had the push I needed to take the step and...

Y su precioso sombrero, que seguía en la bolsa de plástico, parecía decirme "eh, tú ¿no vas a cogerme y ver cómo soy realmente?"

Pues sí ;-)

And her lovely hat, which was still in the plastic bag, seemed to tell me "Hey, you are not going to catch me and see how I really am?"

Barbie Penélope Cruz, personaje Ángelica de Piratas del Caribe: Review

La quería tanto, la buscaba... y ¡al final la encontré!

I wanted her so much, was looking for her... and finally found her!

Esta es mi revisión fotográfica de mi Barbie Penélope Cruz caracterizada como Angélica de Piratas del Caribe. Me ha llevado un tiempo decidirme a no sacarla de su caja, al menos por ahora. Y lo he intentado pero no puedo. Se ve tan bonita con su pose y el mar embravecido de fondo... que quiero y no puedo.

This is my photographic review of my Barbie Penélope Cruz characterized as Angelica from Pirates of the Caribbean. Took me awhile I decided not to remove her from her box, at least for now. And I've tried but I can't. She looks so pretty with her pose and the raging sea... that I want but I can not.

Bellísima, súper realista y llena de detalles. Así es la barbie de Penélope Cruz que me enamoró en cuanto la vi. Aunque no estaba sola, a su lado vi a Jack Sparrow y de él también me enamoré, porque ambos están hechos con mucho esmero.

Beautiful, super realistic and full of details. So the barbie Penélope Cruz that I fell in love when I saw her. Although she was not alone, at her side I saw Jack Sparrow and I also fell in love with him, because both are made with great care.

Y lo curioso de esta historia es que cuando la encontré, junto a ella estaba el Ken de Johnny Depp. Y mis neuronas hacían cortocircuitos intentando elegir a uno de los dos porque ambos no me cabían en la maleta ¿la bella Pe o el guapísimo Johnny?

Primero elegí a Pe, pues la quería en mi colección. Pero miré aJohnny, luego dudé, me lo pensé de nuevo, lo cogí a él y cuando le iba decir al vendedor que me lo envolviera volví a dudar... y finalmente la elegí a ella porque me di cuenta de que a él no lo iba a sacar de la caja ¡y ahora no puedo sacarla a ella!

And the curious thing about this story is that when I found her, next she was the Ken of Johnny Depp. And my neurons were shorts trying to choose one of the two because both did not fit in my suitcase. So, the bella Pe or the handsome Johnny?

First I chose Pe, because I wanted her in my collection. But I looked at Johnny, then I hesitated, thought it again, took him and when I was going to tell the seller that he envelops him I turned to doubt... and finally chose her because I realized that I was not going to take him out of the box. And now I can not get it to her!

No lo entiendo, de verdad que no lo entiendo. No lo elegí a él precisamente porque sabía que no lo iba a sacar de la caja (tan guapo con esa melena con mechas que tan fácilmente se me iba a despeinar...). 

Por esta razón, he esperado. Pensaba que después de disfrutarla dentro de su caja la querría sacar pero sigo sin poder hacerlo. Sé que es el eterno dilema de los coleccionistas, pero a mi me gusta disfrutar mis muñecas cogiéndolas y peinándolas.

Así que por razones que todavía no alcanzo a comprender, lo que iba a ser mi unboxing & review de la barbie de Penélope Cruz se ha quedado en review, sin unboxing (o de-box). Por ahora... porque espero poder sacarla algún día, sé que si no la saco no la disfruto igual, pero cada vez que lo he intentado no he podido. Me quedo paralizada con las tijeras en la mano.

Don't understand it, really do not understand it. I do not chose him to precisely because I knew that I was not going to remove him of his box (so handsome with that mane with wicks that so easily I would rough up...).

For this reason, I've waited. I thought that after enjoying her inside their box I would take her out but I still can do it. I know that it is the eternal dilemma of the collectors, but I like to enjoy my dolls catching them and by combing them.

So for reasons that still I cannot understand, what would be my unboxing and review of the barbie Penélope Cruz has been in review, without unboxing (or de-box). For now... because I hope one day I can do it, I know that if I not take her out I don't enjoy equal, but whenever I've tried I could not. I stay paralyzed with scissors in hand.

Y mientras reuno el valor para sacar a Pe de su caja, disfruto contemplándola dentro de ella. Y también me deleito con las imágenes que decoran el fondo y el reverso de su por ahora prisión de cartón.

Espero algún día reunir el valor para sacarla, pero hasta entonces he decidido no torturarme más con mi dilema y aceptar que por ahora ella, tan bella, debe quedarse en su hermosa caja.

And while I get the value to de-box Pe from her box, I enjoy watching her within it. And also delight with images that decorate the background and the back of her by now cardboard prison.

I hope someday meet the value out, but until then I decided not to torture me more with my dilemma and accept that for now her, so beautiful, must stay in their beautiful box.
