En teoría esta muñeca forma parte de la primera wave (ola) de fashionistas de 2018 pero salió a la venta en España a mediados de diciembre de 2017.

La primera vez que la vi no estaba muy interesada en añadirla a mi colección, como ya sabéis mis razones para descartar muñecas son siempre las mismas: tiempo, espacio y dinero. Es una tarea difícil, pues hasta ahora siempre me han gustado todas.

Así que me convencí a mi misma de no adquirirla :-) De hecho la vi en varias ocasiones en El Corte Inglés, Carrefour y Toysrus; pero me mantuve firme en mi decisión hasta que la vi a ella, a Marta.

Doll hunting: Buscando los nuevos Barbie & Ken (desesperadamente)

Hola de nuevo. Hoy ayer ha sido un gran día (muñequil) jajaja. Si quieres saber dónde puedes comprar las nuevas Barbie Fashionistas wave 2 o los nuevos Ken con cuerpo fornido, original o delgadito sigue leyendo.

Hi there! Today yesterday has been a nice (dollie) day lol. If you want to know where you can buy the new Barbie Fashionistas wave 2 or the new Ken with sturdy, original or thin body still reading.

Hoy (técnicamente ayer, porque finalmente no pude publicar este post hasta hoy) hemos ido a comprar un regalo para una amiga, nada que ver con barbies, pero aprovechando la ocasión he podido visitar varios centros comerciales. Y había muuuchas fashionistas nuevas, chicos incluídos. Su precio (en números redondos, para no andar con decimales) iba desde 13€ en Carrefour, pasando por 14€ en El Corte Inglés, hasta 15€ en Toysrus. Os cuento y os enseño fotos...

Today (technically yesterday, because I finally could not publish this post until today) we went to buy a gift for a friend, nothing to do with barbies, but taking advantage of the occasion I was able to visit several shopping centers. And there were so many new fashionistas, guys included. Its price (in round numbers, not to go with decimals) ranged from € 13 in Carrefour, to € 14 in El Corte Inglés, to € 15 in Toysrus. I tell you and I show you photos ...

Ayer los encontré en El Corte Inglés y los recién llegados a mi colección, de izquierda a derecha, son: Ken Fashionistas nº9, muñeco delgado con código DWK46 y Ken Fashionista nº8, muñeco fornido con código FNH40.

Tenían dos chicos más, los números 7 y 13, pero lamentablemente están llegando con muchos defectos de calidad. Honestamente, todos tienen fallos. Al menos esta vez no ha podido ser, aunque espero conseguir pronto el ken 13 :-)  En mi opinión es un imprescindible que no debe faltar en toda colección de Fashionistas.

Yesterday I found them in El Corte Inglés and the newcomers to my collection, from left to right, are: Ken Fashionistas nº9, thin doll with code DWK46 and Ken Fashionista nº8, solid doll with code FNH40.

They had two more boys, numbers 7 and 13, but unfortunately they are coming up with many quality flaws. Honestly, everyone has flaws. At least this time could not be, although I hope to get ken soon 13 :-) In my opinion is an absolute 'must have' in any collection of Fashionistas.

Doll hunting & Unboxing new Barbie Fashionistas 60, 62, 68

Ya sabéis que me encantan las fashionistas y en esta segunda ola o wave de 2017 hay muchas caras bonitas, pelos preciosos... y  ¡ya están llegando!  ¡Las quiero (casi) todas!

Well, you know I love Barbie Fashionistas dolls and in the 2017 second wave, there are many pretty faces, precious hairs...  and they are coming now! I want (almost) all them!

Ellas son de izquierda a derecha: Barbie Fashionistas muñeca 62 petite, muñeca original 68 y muñeca original 60. Las he encontrado en Carrefour, aunque hace semanas que las estaba buscando sin éxito en todas partes.

Literalmente moví cielo, mar y tierra hasta dar con ellas :-) Tan sólo había cuatro muñecas de la segunda ola, el cuarto modelo era la muñeca 58 y la he descartado porque ya tengo muchas fashionistas con el molde millie pero me parece muy nteresante su ropa.

From left to right, they are Barbie Fashionistas doll 62 petite, doll 68 original and doll 60 original too. I have found them in Carrefour, but I have been looking for them during several weeks without success.

Literally, I left no stones unturned :-) There were only four dolls from the wave 2. The 4th model was doll 58 and I decided to discard her because I have many Barbie Fashionistas with the same (millie) head mold. But I think her clothes are very interesting.

¿Sorprendidos? Lo sé, he vuelto a caer en la tentación, inevitable tentación. Pero hoy era el último día de la oferta 3x2 en Barbie Fashionistas de Toysrus y como pasaba por delante ¡no podía ignorarlo! ¿Cómo desaprovechar una oportunidad así?

Are surprised? I know, I'm back to fall into temptation, inevitable temptation. But today was the last day for the 3x2 Barbie Fashionistas offer at Toysrus and as happened ahead, I couldn't ignore it! How to waste a good opportunity?

Estoy tan emocionada que rápidamente les he hecho unas fotos para preparar este breve post y poder compartir este momento con vosotros. Como veis los elegidos son dos chicas y un chico.

Hoy sí estaba la barbie alta y ha sido una gran suerte porque no quería quedarme sin ella. Me gustan sus zapatos, los cuales son azul marino aunque en las fotos promocionales parecían (o eran) negros. Pero azules me gustan más porque son muy bonitos y añaden más variedad a mi colección.

La barbie número 49 es una preciosidad. Me encanta su cabello rubio platino, su boca cerrada, su vestido, sus zapatos y el broche. Lo único que no me gusta es que tiene poco pelo, muy escaso.

Me encantan las sandalias de Ken y su ropa también es muy bonita, especialmente los pantalones. Me da miedo desvestirlo, hoy no tengo valor para sorpresas negativas. Es muy tarde y tengo sueño, así que prefiero irme a dormir pensando que está perfecto y mañana será otro día.

I am so excited that I quickly made them some photos to prepare this short post and be able to share this moment with you. But I hope I can make them better photos soon. As you can see the elect are two girls and a boy.

Today was the tall barbie and has been a very lucky because he didn't run me out of it. I like your shoes, which are dark blue, although they appeared in promotional photos (or were) black. But I more like blue because they are beautiful and add more variety to my collection.

The number 49 barbie is gorgeous. I love your blonde hair Platinum, your mouth shut, your dress, your shoes and snap. The only thing I don't like is that it has little hair, very little.

I love Ken sandals and clothing is also very nice, especially the trousers. It frightens me undress him, today I have no value for negative surprises. It is very late and I have a dream, so I'd rather go to sleep thinking that it is perfect, and tomorrow will be another day.

Pero no puedo despedirme por hoy sin mostrar a tres de mis favoritas. Aunque han sido las primeras en incorporarse a mi colección se sienten un poco "abandonadas" y no les falta razón. Por diferentes motivos han pasado las semanas y todavía no he posteado sus fotos. ¡Perdón chicas!

But I can not fire me now without showing three of my favorite. Although they have been the first in joining my collection , they felt a bit "abandoned" and do not lack them reason. For different reasons the weeks have passed and I have not yet posted their photos. Sorry, girls!

La primera la conseguí en amazon.es y las otras dos son las mismas muñecas que os había enseñado en mi doll hunting en Carrefour.

Me encanta que haya variedad en los moldes de cabeza y tonos de piel de Ken. Es una pena que Mattel no diseñe todavía muñecos con diferentes tipos de cuerpo como las barbies bajitas, altas y con curvas. Aunque lo espero impaciente, por ahora disfruto compartiendo con vosotros estas fotos de los chicos de mi colección de Fashionistas.

I love that there is variety in the Ken dolls head molds and skin tones. It is a pity that Mattel not design still male dolls with different body types as the petite, tall and curvy barbie dolls. Although I hope so impatient, I enjoy sharing with you these pictures of my collection of Fashionistas boys for now.

Comenzaré con Richard (Ken Fashionistas Color Blocked Cool 6). Aunque en un principio no era mi favorito, desde que forma parte de mi colección me gusta cada día más. Me gustan su ropa, sus zapatos y sus rasgos faciales tan naturales. Le he llamado Richard, por el actor Richard Gere :-P Hoy le he visto en la película "The Americans" ¡qué jovencito y guapo estaba!".

I will start with Richard (Ken Fashionistas Color Blocked Cool 6). Although initially was not my favorite, since part of my collection I like way more each day. I like his clothes, his shoes and his facial features as natural. I have called him Richard, by the actor Richard Gere:-P Today I have seen he in the film 'The Americans'. What young and handsome was!".

E inspirándome en actores... él es Gary (Ken Fashionistas Hip Hoodie 5), por Gary Dourdan de CSI. Mi favorito desde que vi sus fotos promocionales. Sigue siendo así pero me ha decepcionado un poco y ha sido por varias razones: su ropa, sus zapatos y su acabado. Os lo explicaré con fotos.

And inspired by actors... He is Gary (Ken Fashionistas Hip Hoodie 5), by Gary Dourdan from CSI. My favorite since I saw his promotional photos. Remains as well but I was a little disappointed and has been for several reasons: his clothes, his shoes and his finish. I will explain with pictures.

Lleva los mismos zapatos que Ken Fashionistas nº3 con top azul. Ken se sostiene de pie con total naturalidad (verticalmente).

He carries the same shoes that Ken Fashionistas #3 with blue top. Ken is held standing naturally (vertically).

En cambio Hip Hoodie apenas se mantiene en pie y cuando consigo que lo haga está tan inclinado como la torre de Pisa. Esto es así porque la suela de sus zapatos está curvada y sus pies no entran correctamente :-(

However Hip Hoodie just stays in foot and when that do so is so inclined as the Tower of Pisa. This is so because the soles of his shoes are curved and his feet do not enter correctly :-(

Lamentablemente no está muy bien acabado... 

Unfortunately he is not very well finished...

El top rojo y el chaleco azul son una única pieza. Esto ya lo sabía y no ha sido una sorpresa para mi. En cambio sí lo ha sido descubrir que...

The red top and blue vest are a single piece. This already knew and was not a surprise for me. However Yes has been discovering that...

¡la capucha tiene un agujero en la parte posterior! Y no, no está rota, está diseñada así. Sólo cuando le he quitado la ropa y se la he vuelto a poner he descubierto la razón de esta peculiaridad.  El chaleco, que está cosido al frontal rojo, se abre por detrás y ¡sin este agujero no le entraría la cabeza al vestirlo! 

Y por fin la comparativa. De izquierda a derecha, ellos son...

The hood has a hole in the back  And no, not is broken, is designed as well. Only when I have removed the clothes and I'm back to I have discovered the reason for this peculiarity. The vest, which is sewn to the red front, opens at the back and without this hole would not enter his head to wear it!

Todos los Ken Fashionistas de 2017 tienen una pose totalmente recta, con brazos y piernas extendidos.

All 2017 Ken Fashionistas have a completely straight pose, with arms and legs extended.

Todos los Ken Fashionistas de 2015 y 2016 tienen la misma pose de modelo: con el torso ligeramente ladeado y la pierna izquierda un poco flexional.

All 2015 and 2016 Ken Fashionistas have the same model pose: with slightly tilted torso and their left leg slightly flexed.

Los nuevos fashionistas de 2017 no pueden elevar mucho sus brazos y apenas separan sus piernas. ¿Están involucionando? Mientras que Barbie evoluciona adquiriendo mayor movilidad que nunca, parece que Ken y sus amigos van hacia atrás.

New 2017 fashionistas may not raise substantially their arms and just to separate her legs. Are they devolving? While Barbie has evolved to acquiring greater mobility that ever, it seems that Ken and his friends go back.

Los fashionistas de 2015 y 2016 pueden elevar más sus brazos y separar sus piernas. No es una gran diferencia pero perder movilidad en muñecos que ya tienen poca es algo notable. Además las articulaciones de mis nuevos muñecos crujen más que unas patatitas en mi boca.

2015 and 2016 fashionistas ken dolls can more raise their arms and more spread their legs. It is not a big difference but lose mobility in toys that have little is something remarkable. Also my new dolls joints creak more than a few potatoes chips in my mouth.

Y una última diferencia: el cuello.

¡Un año más llega la locura fashionista a las tiendas! Acompáñame y te mostraré lo que he encontrado en diferentes jugueterías. Como verás, finales de febrero y comienzos de marzo han traído varias novedades a mi colección.

Another year comes the Fashionistas' madness to the toy stores! Come with me and I'll show you what I've found in different stores. As you can see, end of February and beginning of March have brought some new features to my collection.

Todas estas muñecas y alguna más las encontré en Carrefour. Había más, pero estaba tan emocionada que me olvidé de fotografiarlas todas. Especialmente porque es muy difícil no elegirlas todas... como siempre. Así que intenté concentrarme en las que más me gustaban.

¿Queréis saber cuáles he añadido a mi colección? Pues tras meditarlo paseando a varias en el carrito de la compra jajaja al final elegí las fashionistas 51 y 56. Aunque a los dos días tuve que pasar por delante y no me resistí a entrar y traerme a casa la Barbie granjera :-)

Pero no acaba aquí mi doll hunting, porque en Toysrus están a 9,99€ con oferta 3x2 (6,66€) las Barbie Fashionistas (Ken Fashionistas incluidos).

All these dolls and some more them found in Carrefour. There was more, but was so excited that I forgot of photograph them all. Especially because it is very difficult to not choose them all... as usual. So I tried to concentrate on the more I liked.

Want to know what I have added to my collection? Then after meditating so walking to some in the shopping cart lol in the end I chose the Barbie Fashionistas #51 and #56. Although two days later I had to go through a there and I didn't resisted to enter and bring home the Barbie farmer :-)

But not just here my doll hunting, because in Toysrus are to 9,99€ with offer 3 for 2 (6.66€) the Barbie Fashionistas (Ken Fashionistas included).

Estos Packs de Modas acaban de llegar a Carrefour y están a 8,90€. Incluyen dos accesorios y un vestido multitalla, pero no zapatos. Realmente me gustan todos, porque son muy bonitos. Pero estoy un poco abrumada con tantas novedades y no sé cual elegir. ¿Tenéis algún favorito?

These Barbie Fashion Packs have just arrived to Carrefour and are € 9.50. They include two accessories and a multi-size dress, but no shoes. Actually I like all, because are very beautiful. But I am a little overwhelmed with so many new and do not know which choice. Do you have a favorite?

Por otra parte, no me gusta que el revés sea diferente al frontal, como sucede en el precioso vestido morado por ejemplo. 

On the other hand, I don't like that backwards is different to the front, as in for example the lovely purple dress.

Y este hecho me hace dudar más y al final es como una espiral de dudas. Así que al menos por ahora no he comprado ninguno. Pero veo las fotos... y me tientan jajaja.

 And this fact makes me doubt more and in the end is like a spiral of doubts. So at least for now I bought none. But I see the photos... and they tempt me lol.

Doll Hunting Express

Buscando a Barbie... encontré nuevas barbies. Ahora están llegando a las jugueterías las nuevas Barbie Chic, pero afortunadamente todavía pueden encontrarse las muñecas de la wave anterior. Así que he aprovechado la ocasión para hacerles una fotografía a todas juntas para enseñároslas aquí en el blog en un post rápido.

Looking for Barbie... I found new barbies. The new Barbie Chic are now coming to the toy stores, but fortunately we can still found the dolls from the previous wave. So I have taken the opportunity to take a picture all together to show them in this quick post.

No me rindo, no puedo. Me encanta la barbie Made to Move del top naranja con su pelo rubio rizado. Sé que podría comprarla por internet pero quiero elegirla personalmente. Y aunque no he tenido suerte con ella, sí he encontrado 4 nuevas muñecas en la línea Barbie Chic.

I do not give up, I can't. I love the Barbie Made to Move Orange Top by her curly blond hair.  I know that I could buy it online but I would personally choose. And although I have not had luck with it, I have found 4 new dolls from the Barbie Chic line.

Las dos primeras muñecas tienen el molde de cabeza 2014 Millie playline, la tercera tiene el molde de cabeza 2015 curvy y la cuarta el molde de cabeza 2000 Kayla/Lea. Todas llevan un vestido corto sin mangas con diferentes estampados florales, muy veraniego.

The first two dolls have the 2014 Millie playline head mould, the third has the 2015 Curvy head mold and the fourth is 2000 Kayla/Lea. All carry a very summery sleeveless short dress with different floral prints.

Me encanta la nueva Barbie Chic del vestido rojo, tanto que he estado muy tentada de añadirla a mi colección... aunque finalmente no ha sido así. Intento centrarme en mi objetivo: encontrar la Barbie Movimientos sin Límite del top naranja.

I love the new Barbie Chic in the red dress, so that I was very tempted of add her to my barbie collection... though finally it has not been thus. I try to focus on my goal: find Barbie Made to Move Orange top.

Aunque no tengan nombre me gusta la idea de que Mattel incorpore a este línea de muñecas diferentes moldes de cabeza y tonos de piel, más allá de las clásicas amigas de Barbie. Creo que es una pena que no hayan añadido también más variedad con los tipos de cuerpo.

Although they have not name I like the idea that Mattel incorporated to this line of dolls different moulds of head and tones of skin, more beyond of them classic friends of Barbie. Well, they does not have also added more variety with the new body types and I think it is a pity.

Y esta ha sido mi última búsqueda, sin éxito, de mi ansiada barbie del top naranja. Pero ¿qué os parecen estas chicas? Mis favoritas son la barbie del vestido negro con flores, por su pelo claro y raya al medio; y la barbie chic oriental, por sus rasgos étnicos y su pelo oscuro con dos tonos. También me gustan los dos vestidos que llevan ambas barbies ¿Y tú, tienes alguna favorita?

And this has been my last doll hunting, unsuccessfully, for my long-awaited barbie Made to Move Orange Top. But what do you think of these girls? My favorite are the barbie in the black floral dress, by her middle-striped light blond hair; and the Barbie Chic in red dress by her eyes, her skin tone and her two-toned dark hair. I also like the two floral dresses that both new barbies wear. And do you have any favorite?
