¡Han llegado más fashionistas a las tiendas! Y es que no puedo evitarlo, si voy, tengo que mirar la zona de barbies. Y el riesgo de mirar es que a veces, sin querer, encuentro lo que tanto había buscado. La verdad es que no esperaba encontrar nuevas fashionistas y tampoco quería comprarme ninguna muñeca sin outfits adicionales. Por eso digo que fue "sin querer":
ayer no quería mirar, pero...
miré y no vi nada nuevo, pero...
algo en mi interior me dijo "mira mejor"

Y la verdad que estaba muy perezosa, con tanto calor estos días... además las fashionistas estaban en la balda más baja de la estantería y tenía que agacharme para verlas, pero no quise desoír mi intuición. Así que me dije "si me he agachado para mirar al menos voy a comprobarlas todas".
Así que busqué mejor y entonces encontré la fashionista número 21, Grace. ¡Es tan bonita! Todavía sorprendida me pregunté ¿estará la curvy del pelo azul? Y buscando y rebuscando... ¡Oh, Dios mío! ¡Está la número 27, la curvy del pelo azul!
Son muy bonitas, siempre digo lo mismo pero es verdad. Me parecen muy bonitas. Así que ya os podéis imaginar mis dudas, mi lucha interior y que al final acabé con las muñecas dentro del carrito de la compra paseándolas jajaja.
Mientras las miraba una y otra vez pensaba "¿y ahora qué hago?". No sabía que hacer, por lo que decidí observarlas bien. Me pregunté a mi misma dos cosas clave:
1- si me gustaban lo suficiente como para añadirlas a mi colección
2- si tenían fallos insignificantes o imperdonables

They are very pretty, always I say it but it is truth. They seem very beautiful. So that you can already imagine my doubts, my inner struggle and at the end I ended up with the dolls within the shopping cart, walking them lol.
As I watched them over and over again I thought "and now what do I do?". I did not know what to do, so I decided to see them well. I wondered to myself two key things:
1. If I liked enough as to add to my collection
2. If they had negligible or unforgivable defects
Así que me puse a mirarlas con detalle. Comencé por la Barbie Fashionista número 21, Grace. Me encanta su collar plateado. Es muy geométrico y elegante. Su vestido tiene un color precioso y su estampado de pitón es genial.

Su molde facial es uno de mis favoritos ¿lo digo siempre? Me encanta su peinado y su pelo con tonos caoba y mechas rubias. Pero entonces lo vi ¡qué horror! Tenía pegotes de pegamento junto a su oreja izquierda, en la nuca y un poco justamente en la trenza.
Para mi tristeza, debía descartarla.
Your face mould is one of my favorites. Did I always say the same thing? I love her hair with mahogany tones and blond highlights. But then I saw that. What horror! She had gobs of glue next to her left ear, her neckband and a little more just in braid.
To my sorrow, I should discard her.
Entonces continué con la otra Barbie Fashionista, muñeca 27 Encaje Encantador Curvy, la cual llevaba las gafas sobre su cabeza. Este detalle era un punto a su favor puesto que sé de muñecas que han quedado dañadas por llevarlas sobre la nariz. Afortunadamente, al ponerle las gafas sobre el pelo Mattel había protegido su frente y no tenía marcas o daños ocasionados por sus gafas. ¡Bien por Mattel!
Pero lamentablemente le encontré varios pequeños defectos que juntos sumaban demasiado. Me disgusté tanto que no le hice más fotos, así que os los mostraré ampliando la única foto que tengo de ella.
Tenía el remate del escote torcido (disculpad que en la foto no se pueda apreciar todo lo torcido que estaba, puede parecer que está ondulado pero realmente el cosido estaba torcido) y el ribete de la cintura también. El problema del cuello no era solucionable aunque tal vez el ribete de la cintura sí. No sé si el ribete únicamente estaba girado sobre sí mismo, o si por el contrario estaba cosido de este manera. Pero la solución no era comprarla para salir de dudas. Me gusta mucho su ropa y no quiero verle fallos así cada día que la mire.

The auction of her neckline was twisted (sorry for that, in the photo may not appreciate all the crooked was, may seem it is wavy but actually stitching was twisted) and edging the waist too. The neck problem was not solved though perhaps edging waist yes. I don't know if the trim was only turned on itself, or if on the contrary it was sewn in this way. But the solution was not to buy the doll out of doubt. I love her clothes and I don't want to see her bugs so everyday that look.
Otro fallo que no podía pasar por alto era el acabado de la costura de su falda. No me parece nada estético finalizarlo en la parte frontal de la falda. Entre dudas, cuando iba a dejar la muñeca de nuevo en la estantería, vi que su brazo derecho tenía unas marcas. Posiblemente sólo eran un poco de suciedad, pero finalmente decidí que eran demasiados fallos juntos en una muñeca. Y me dio mucha pena, porque me parece muy bonita y en todo lo demás estaba perfecta.
Pero ya lo dijo Napoleón "más vale una retirada a tiempo que una derrota". Además, a mi me gusta ser optimista y pensar que esto es una victoria. Porque algo dentro de mi me dice que volveré a verla en otro lugar y ahora que sé lo hermosa que es vista en directo quiero tenerla en mi colección. Así que ¡hasta pronto, curvy del pelo azul!
