Neko de turismo en Sevilla - parte 2

Me gusta hacer planes, pero muchas veces la vida nos obliga a improvisar y adaptarnos.  De hecho mi visita con Neko a Sevilla no estaba prevista sino que fue fruto de mi adaptación a las nuevas y afortunadas circunstancias.

Y la verdad, me divertí mucho haciéndole fotos y visitando la Plaza de España y sus alrededores. Si te has perdido la primera parte, puedes verla aquí antes de continuar.

I like to make plans, but many times the life forces us to improvise and adapt. In fact my visit with Neko to Seville was not planned but that it was the result of my adaptation to new and fortunate circumstances.

And the truth, I had fun doing much photos and visiting the Plaza de España and its surroundings. If you miss the first part, you can see it here before continuing.

Justo enfrente de la plaza hay un monumento. Es una estatua de Aníbal González, quien fue el arquitecto que proyecto dicha plaza. Un gigante en opinión de Neko.

Just in front of the square there is a monument. It is a statue of Aníbal González, who was the architect who project the plaza. A giant in the opinion of Neko.

En la plaza hay un banco con dos torres y su respectivo mosaico representando cada una de las provincias españolas.

In the square there is a bench with two towers and its respective mosaic representing each one of the spanish provinces.

Nunca antes le había hecho fotos a mi barbie en un lugar tan turístico y lleno de gente. Pero sin duda alguna repetiré muy pronto, porque ha sido muy gratificante tanto el resultado como la vivencia.

I had never before made photos to my barbie in a place so crowded and tourist. But no doubt I will repeat soon, because it has been very gratifying both the result and the experience.

Para mi ha sido una experiencia maravillosa ver el anochecer y la puesta del sol desde aquí. Me volvía loca de emoción haciendo fotos y más fotos, cada cual más bonita. 

For me has been a wonderful experience to see the sunset from here. I went crazy with excitement making photos and more photos, each one more beautiful.

En el centro de la plaza se encuentra la entrada principal del edificio. Los interiores son magníficos y se puede acceder a la primera planta y observar desde la altura el increíble juego de luces y sombras que ofrece la noche.

The main entrance to the building is located in the center of the square. Interiors are magnificent and you can access to the first floor and observe the incredible play of light and shadows that offers overnight from the height.

La plaza, la cual comenzó a construirse en 1914, es muy grande. Tiene 170 metros de diámetro, forma semi-elíptica y una superficie de 50.000 m².

Ha sido escenario de numerosas películas, entre las que destacan Lawrence de Arabia (1962), Star Wars Episodio II: el ataque de los clones (2002) y El dictador (2012).

The plaza, which was built in 1914, is very large. It is 170 meters in diameter, semi-eliptica form and an area of 50,000 m².

It has been the scene of numerous films, including Lawrende of Arabia (1962), Star Wars: Episodie II - Attack of the Clones (2002) and The Dictator (2012).

En el centro de la plaza hay una gran fuente, obra de Vicente Traver. Y está rodeada por un canal de agua atravesado por cuatro puentes.

In the center of the square there is a large fountain, work of Vicente Traver. And it is surrounded by a water channel that is crossed by four bridges.

Neko de turismo en Sevilla - parte 1

Para todo hay una primera vez y tras su unboxing Neko se ha estrenado como turista en Sevilla. He tenido la ocasión de ir con mi chico y hacer un poco de turismo mientras él atendía unos asuntos de trabajo y me la he llevado a ella como modelo para las fotos por dos razones:

-Neko es preciosa, me encanta su molde de cabeza

-y sus brazos articulados le permiten posar mientras que sus piernas no flexibles me ayudan a cogerla con una sola mano sin que se "desmaye" :-D

There is a first time for everything and after her unboxing Neko has premiered as a tourist in Seville. I have had the opportunity to go with my guy and do a bit of tourism while he took care of a few issues of work and I have led her as a model for photos for two reasons:

-Neko is beautiful, I love her head mould

- and her articulated arms allow her to pose while her non-flexible legs help me to catch her with one hand without her fainting :-D

Neko y yo teníamos apenas dos horas para darnos una vuelta por la ciudad, así que comenzamos la sesión de fotos en el Prado de San Sebastián. Es un parque lleno de árboles frondosos situado al lado de la Plaza de España.

Pensé que podría conseguir alguna foto interesante sin desviarme de mi camino. Me encantó visitarlo porque la luz se colaba entre las ramas de los árboles creando hermosos reflejos en el agua.

Neko and I had just two hours to give us a tour of the city, so we started the photo shoot in the Prado de San Sebastián. It is a leafy tree-filled park located next to the Plaza of Spain.

I thought that I could get some interesting photo without divert me from my path. I was delighted to visit him because strained the light among the branches of the trees creating beautiful reflections in the water.

Tenía la esperanza de que hubiera peces de colores en el estanque pero no vi ninguno.

I was hoping that there was a goldfish in the pond, but I saw none.

Desde allí nos dirigimos a la fachada posterior del edificio que alberga a la Subdelegación de Gobierno de España. Pero como soy muy animalera, unos gorriones que se bañaban placenteramente en su bañera de arena llamaron mi atención.

From there we headed to the rear facade of the building that houses the subdelegation of the Government of Spain. But as I love animals, a few sparrows bathing pleasantly in their bathtub of sand caught my attention.

Así que seguí mi camino rodeando todo el edificio y llegué al parque de María Luisa. Y gracias a este rodeo me centré en hacer fotos del mismo con luz natural.

So I continued my way around the building and got to María Luisa Park. And thanks to this rodeo I focused on shooting with natural light.

Neko quería hacerse una foto en el puesto de ropa flamenca pero por razones de talla no fue posible jajaja Así que se tuvo que conformar con mirar y posar con los puestos de recuerdos típicos al fondo.

Neko wanted to take a photo in the stall of flamenco clothes but for reasons of size was not possible lol So she had to settle with look and pose with the souvenirs stalls in the background.

En la foto de arriba se puede ver un precioso caballo tordo enganchado a un carruaje para turistas, descansando del trabajo.

In the photo above you can see a beautiful grey horse attached to a carriage for tourists, resting from work.

Y ya en el interior de la plaza de España, Neko posa presumida apoyada en el reposabrazos de uno de los bancos en los que suelen descansar los turistas entre foto y foto.

And in the interior of the Plaza de España, Neko posed presumed resting on the arm of one of the banks that tend to rest tourists between photo and photo.

Neko posó como una turista más, disfrutando del fabuloso paisaje monumental.

Monumento, luces y agua... una gran combinación que enamoraba a todos los presentes.

En el gran estanque de la plaza, había un precioso pato macho acicalándose el plumaje al que no le molestó mi presencia y quiso posar para salir en las fotos.

Esta clase de patos se conocen como pato criollo o pato mudo y emiten sonidos sordos en vez del clásico graznido o parpar que hacen el resto de patos, como se puede escuchar en este vídeo que he encontrado en youtube.

In the large square pond, had a beautiful male duck preening his feathers which did not bother my presence and wanted to pose for the photos.

This kind of ducks are known as Muscovy duck and emit deaf instead of the classic squawking that the rest of the ducks make, as it can be heard in this video that I found on youtube.

El vídeo es muy breve y se ve y escucha una hembra incubando sus 22 huevos (sí, 22) y dos machos protegiéndola.

The video is very short and looks and hears a female incubating her eggs 22 (yes, 22) and two males protecting her.

Pensé que al caer la noche no podría hacer buenas fotos, pero me equivoqué. Afortunadamente la plaza tiene muy buena iluminación y me fue posible hacer también fotos del anochecer. Pero para no hacer este post demasiado largo lo he dividido en dos.

I thought that I could not make good photos in the evening, but I was wrong. Fortunately, the square has very good lighting and I was able to also take photos of the evening. But to not make this post too long I have divided it in two parts.
