Buscando a Barbie, Doll hunting

Buscando una Barbie muy concreta, he encontrado muchas cosas interesantes... Y aunque siempre es emocionante descubrir que las nuevas barbies han llegado a las tiendas, es mejor todavía cuando los sets incluyen accesorios tan chulos.

Looking for a specific Barbie, I found many interesting things... And although always is exciting discover that the new barbies have arrived to the toy stores, is better still when the sets include accessories so cool.

Me encanta la nueva Barbie Pink Passport Scooter. Esta versión es mucho más divertida que las anteriores, al menos en mi opinión, pues la moto es multicolor. Tiene un maletero que se puede abrir y cerrar. Además de la muñeca y unas pegatinas incluye cámara de fotos, mochila, gafas de sol bicolores, móvil, casco, perrito, comedero y hueso.

La mochila es igual a una en los nuevos packs de modas, pero de otro color. Mientras que esta es fucsia la otra es rosa claro. Personalmente me gustan ambas y me encantaría incluirlas en mi colección. Esto es porque me gustan mucho y sus respectivos packs / sets y porque estoy convencida de que tienen un tamaño compatible también con las barbies curvy! ¿Opinas lo mismo?

I love the new Barbie Pink Passport Scooter. As the bike is multicolored, this version is much more fun than the previous one, at least in my opinion. It has a trunk that can open and close. In addition to the doll and a few stickers includes a camera, backpack, bicolor sunglasses, mobile, helmet, puppy, feeder and bone.

The backpack is equal to the one in the new fashion packs, but in a different color. While this is fuchsia  the other is light pink. Personally I like both and I would love to include them in my collection. This is because I really like and their respective packs / sets and because I am convinced that they also are curvy-size compatible!! Do you think the same?

Me gusta el nuevo playset Barbie y su bici. Barbie lleva unos shorts muy chulos y un top rosa. La bicicleta tiene un cesto "de mimbre" que se puede poner y quitar. El casco con estrellas es muy bonito pero lo que más me gusta es la botella de agua. 

I like the new Barbie Glam Bike play-set. Barbie wears very cool shorts and a pink top. The bike has a 'wicker-like' basket that you can put and remove. The star helmet is very nice but what I like most is the water bottle.

Y aquí está Barbie Tokidoki ¡inconfundible! Me parece una muñeca preciosa pero me asusta que tenga el flequillo tan lleno de pegamento. He sufrido esto mismo con varias de mis fashionistas playline (como Barbie Va Va Violet)y la solución ha sido cepillarles con mucho cuidado y paciencia el pelo hasta eliminarle parte del pegamento, porque finalmente no fue necesario lavarle la cabeza.

Here is Barbie Tokidoki. Unmistakable! I think she is a beautiful doll, but it scares me to have the bangs so full of glue. I have had this same problem with several of my fashionistas (such as Barbie Va Va Violet) and the solution has been to brush her hair with great care and patience to remove part of the glue, because finally it was not necessary to wash her head.

Pero creo que no me atrevería a hacer lo mismo con una barbie de colección tan especial como esta. ¿Tú le lavarías el pelo a esta muñeca?

But I think that I would not dare to do the same with a doll as special as this collector barbie. Do you wash her hair to this doll?

Estoy buscando la Barbie Movimientos sin Límite Rizos Perfectos (la del top naranja), aunque por ahora no he tenido éxito :-( En cambio encontré la nueva Barbie Movimientos sin Límite con ropas de profesiones: científica, cantante y futbolista.

Es fabuloso que Mattel lance al mercado nuevas opciones en este línea de muñecas, además de las muñecas con la ropa de yoga. Espero que sigan ampliándola con nuevas sorpresas ¿tal vez cuerpos MtM curvy, tall y petite? ¿algún Ken articulado?

I am looking for Barbie Made to Move Orange Top, although by now I have not had success :-( On the other hand I found the new Barbie MtM with career outfits: scientific, singer and footballer.

Is fabulous that Mattel release new options in MtM line, in addition to the dolls in yoga clothes. I hope to they continue to expand with new surprises perhaps curvy, petite and tall MtM? Or some articulated Ken dolls?

La nueva Barbie Dentista Infantil tiene una clínica dental muy moderna. Me encantan el mueble circular, el asiento y los pequeños accesorios médicos. La niña es súper divertida, tiene ropa de verdad y zapatos. Tiene una bonita sonrisa pero... también una caries ¡rápido, un dentista!

The new Barbie Dentist has a very modern dental clinic. I love the circular furniture, the seat and the small medical accessories. The girl is super fun, has truth clothes and shoes that you can put and remove. She has a nice smile but... also a decay. Quickly, a dentist!

También ha llegado a las tiendas la nueva Barbie Pediatra muñeca Teresa/ Neysa, con un atuendo médico muy realista. Este play set incluye un mueble, ordenador portátil, una venda y varios objetos médicos. También una niña rubia con ropa de verdad y zapatos que se pueden poner y quitar. 

It has also reached the toy stores the new Barbie Pediatrician Teresa /Neysa doll, with a very realistic doctor outfit. This play set includes furniture, laptop, a band and various medical objects. Also a blonde girl with truth clothing and shoes that can be put and remove.

Es una gran noticia ver que las nuevas Chelsea Puppy Chase llevan ropa de verdad (no pintada en el cuerpo). ¡Bien por Mattel!

They are great news know that the new Chelsea Puppy Chase wear truth clothing (not painted on their body). Great Mattel!

Todas tienen algo especial, de la primera me gustaron su ropa y sus chanclas. De la segunda me encantó su pelo ligeramente ondulado y de la tercera su top "Mermaid at Heart" y sus zapatillas deportivas... un momento ¡en realidad me gusta todo! Son tan bonitas...

They all have something special, from the first I liked her clothing and her flip-flops. From the second I loved her slightly wavy hair and from the third her top "Mermaid at Heart" and her trainers...  wait a time. Actually I like all! They are so nice...

Aquí están las tres juntas en las fotos promocionales. Estaba señalando (casi) tooodo lo que me gusta, pero es tarea imposible porque cuanto más señalaba más me daba cuenta de que me gusta todo jajaja.

Here you are the three together in the promotional photos. I was pointing out (almost) eeeverything what I like, but it is impossible because the more pointed out more I realized I like every detail lol.

También encontré varios packs de Barbie Mega Blocks. Creo que no son novedad pero me parecieron muy monos. Como soy muy animalera, me gusta especialmente el pack Barbie Mega Blocks Día de Equitación con los caballos :-) pero Barbie Mega Blocks Babby Sitter también.

I also found several packs of Barbie Mega Blocks. I think they are not new but I thought they were very cute. As I like animals very much, I particularly like the Barbie Mega Blocks Day at Stables Pack with the mare and foal :-) But Barbie Mega Blocks Babby Sitter too.

Y hasta aquí este post. Porque sí, volví a casa con las manos vacías :-) Con tantas novedades llegando a las tiendas es difícil no quererlas todas. Pero eso no es posible, ya sabéis que el dinero, el espacio y el tiempo son limitaciones que obligan a elegir bien.

Así que tras consultarlo con la almohada he llegado a la conclusión de que me gusta todo, así de sencillo. Y así de complicado elegir jajaja.

¿Qué vestidos le sirven a nuestras barbies curvy? Parece que depende* de la suerte, porque lógicamente no depende de la dieta que haya seguido la muñeca :-D Aunque mi chico dice que se encoge de mirarlo jajaja. Y es que me encantan y no paro de probarles ropa a mis barbies curvy.

What dresses fit to our curvy barbies? Well, it seem that it depends* on luck.  Logically it not depends of the diet that has followed the doll :-D Even though my guy says it shrinks from looking at it lol. And it is that I love my curvy barbies and I can't stop try clothes on.

Bien, con el mayor rigor posible, he repetido el test de ropa usando para ella no sólo el mismo vestido  sino también la misma exacta muñeca curvy que ha usado Quim. Ella es la Fashionista 32.

Lógicamente, yo he usado la muñeca y el vestido que tengo en mi colección. Pero esta vez he realizado el test copiando todo al milímetro y además le he pedido a mi chico que observara la prueba y compartiera conmigo su opinión. Sin embargo, el resultado de la prueba ha sido el mismo otra vez.

Well, with the greatest possible rigor, I have repeated test using not only the same dress but also the exact same curvy doll as Quim has used for it. She is the 32 Fashionista.

Logically, I have used the doll and the dress that I have in my collection. But this time I made the test copying all to the millimeter and also I have asked to my guy that observed the test and share with me his opinion. However, I the test result was the same again.

En esta foto ampliada, se puede apreciar la tensión en la tela rosa del vestido y como el velcro llega a retorcerse cuando he intentado cerrarlo sin éxito en su parte inferior. Tanto mi chico como yo hemos llegado a la conclusión de que mi vestido no es talla curvy sencillamente porque no tiene suficiente tela en la cintura.

¿Cómo es posible esto? Debido a lo que he llamado el "patrón imperfecto", es decir, a la desviación del patrón original. Como consecuencia, no todos los vestidos de la misma talla son exactamente iguales. Pero esto es algo que también sucede en fabricación de los vestidos que usamos las personas.

Con esta información he actualizado el test de talla de este vestido.

In this enlarged photo, tension can be seen in the pink fabric of the dress and how velcro reaches squirm when I tried to close it without success in the lower part. Both my guy and me have come to the conclusion that my dress isn't curvy size simply because it doesn't have enough fabric at the waist. 

How is possible this? Because of what I have called "the imperfect pattern", i.e., the deviating from the original pattern. As a result, not all the same size dresses are exactly the same. But this is something that also happens in the manufacture of the dresses that people wear.

I have updated the test 01 pink dress with this information.

También se ajusta estupendamente a las barbies altas, aunque es un poco ancho para su cintura.

Also it fits superbly tall barbies, although it is a bit wide for their waistline.

Con el cinturón o sin él, las barbies curvy están preciosas con este vestido. Aunque no es imprescindible para que las barbies altas puedan llevar este vestido, el cinturón mejora el ajuste del mismo en su cintura.

With belt or without it, curvy barbies are pretty in the salmon-pink dress. Although not essential for tall barbies can wear this dress, belt improves how it fits their waist.

Las barbies con cuerpo original está fabulosas con él, aunque no se ajusta a su cintura.

Barbie petite: el top del vestido se ajusta muy bien; la falda queda por encima de las rodillas y el aspecto general es muy natural.

Petite barbies: the top fit very well; the skirt is above the knees and the overall look is very natural.

Barbie alta: el top se ajusta muy bien al torso y la falda queda a la altura de los muslos. Depende del gusto personal de cada cual decidir si te gusta esta longitud, pero objetivamente el vestido es compatible con este tipo de cuerpo. Personalmente me gusta mucho como le queda.

Tall barbies: the top is adjusted very well to the torso and the skirt is to the height of her thighs. Depends on personal taste decide if you like this length, but objectively the dress is compatible with this body type. I personally like how it fits.

To be or not to be... curvy fashions and shoes! (Actualizado! Updated!)

Llega la locura de los zapatos y modas para barbies curvy! Como Mattel no los ha clasificado por número y talla, es normal tener dudas ¡muchas dudas!

¿Cómo saber que zapatos son para muñecas curvy?

¿Qué ropas son talla curvy? 

Aunque no están identificados en los nuevos packs de Modas Barbie, es muy sencillo y aquí te explico cómo diferenciarlos fácilmente.

Here comes the madness of shoes and fashion for curvy barbies! As Mattel has not rated them by number or size, is normal have doubts... many doubts!

How do I know that shoes are curvy doll?

What clothes are curvy size?

Although clothes sizes are not identified in the new Barbie fashion packs, it is very simple and here I explain how differentiate them easily.

Recuerda que las barbies altas y curvy usan el mismo número de calzado. Tanto si sus pies son planos como si tienen la clásica forma de puntillas, son mayores que los pies originales. 

Pero vamos a comparar los zapatos de estos nuevos packs de 2 Modas Barbie y aquí puedes ver los packs completos. Son geniales y elegir cuáles son los favoritos es casi tarea imposible, al menos para mi :-)

Remember that tall and curvy barbies use the same shoes size. So if their feet are flat as if they have the classic tiptoes feet, they are bigger than original barbie feet.

But let's compare these new shoes and its Barbie Fashion 2 Packs. Here you can see the complete packs. They are great and choose what are favorite is nearly impossible, at least for me :-)

Como puedes ver en la imagen anterior, tanto las deportivas amarillas, como los botines beis y los zapatos plateados tienen la suela más larga de lo habitual. En cambio, los botines negros son para barbies con pies del número habitual.

Pero para complicar más las cosas, en algunas ocasiones ¡Mattel ha mezclado diferentes tallas dentro de un mismo pack! Vamos a verlo...

As you can see in the image above, both the yellow sports yellow, as the beige booties and the silver shoes have the sole longer than usual. Instead, those black boots are for barbies with standard feet size.

But to complicate matters, sometimes Mattel has mixed different sizes within a same pack! We are going to see it...

Este pack tiene un estilo muy deportivo. Incluye una mochila, un par de zapatillas deportivas amarillas preciosas (XL, para barbies altas y curvy con pies de puntillas*), un vestido rosa y negro, un top amarillo con otro sobrepuesto y unos pantalones negros y grises. Ambos atuendos parecen anchos, talla curvy ¡bien! Me estoy enamorando :-)

*no estoy segura al 100% pero creo al 99% que son la versión curvy de las zapatillas de deporte con tacón interno de Barbie Fashionistas Summer de 2015.

This pack has a very sporty style. Includes a backpack, a pair of beautiful yellow sneakers (XL, for tall and curvy barbies with tiptoe feet *), a pink and black dress, one yellow top with another overlay and black and grey trousers. Both outfits look wide, size curvy. Great! I'm falling in love with them :-)

*I am not 100% secure, but I think 99% they are the curvy version of 2015 Barbie Fashionistas Summer tiptoes shoes.

La mochila es genial, la adoro. Pienso que es compatible con todos los tipos de cuerpo (original, curvy, tall y petite). Aunque no estoy segura y no sé si es mi es realmente así o sólo mi deseo. ¿Qué opinas?

The backpack is great, I love it. I think that is compatible with all body types (original, curvy, tall and petite). Although I am not sure and I don't know if is me or it's really so or just my desire. What do you think?

Este pack incluye un cinturón marrón, un par de botines beis, un vestido sin mangas, una camisa, unos leggins y un bolso grande. Me gusta absolutamente todo, pero es una pena que no sea una mochila (porque mis barbies Fashionistas no tienen ninguna).

This pack includes a brown belt, a pair of beige boots, a dress without sleeves, a shirt, leggings and a large bag. I like absolutely everything, but it's a pity that the bag isn't a backpack (because my fashionistas barbies have none).

Los botines beis son para barbies curvy y altas con los pies de puntillas. El bolso es muy chulo y grande. En mi opinión es ideal para muñecas altas, originales y curvy. Posiblemente para petites sea enorme, pero es una duda que tengo (necesito comparar mis bolsos más grandes con mis barbies petite).

Me encanta el vestido, que parece amplio. La camisa es ancha, claramente para curvy. Y los leggins tienen la cintura elástica (o se supone). En conclusión, es un pack de modas 100% curvy.

Beige boots are for curvy and tall barbies with tiptoe feet. The bag is very cool and large. In my opinion, it is ideal for tall, original and curvy dolls. Possibly for petites is huge, but it's a doubt that I have (need to compare my larger bags with my petite barbies).

I love the dress, that seems broad. The shirt is wide, clearly to curvy barbie. And the leggings have elastic waist (or is supposed). In conclusion, that's a 100% curvy fashion pack.

Este pack incluye un par de zapatos plateados, un bolso de mano plateado, un vestido rosa, un top plateado y una falda fucsia. Toda la ropa es muy brillante y elegante. Cuanto más lo miro, más me gusta.

This pack includes a pair of silver shoes, a silver hand bag, a pink dress, a silver top and a fuchsia skirt. All the clothing is very bright and elegant. How much more I look it, more I like.

El vestido es claramente una talla curvy. Sin embargo, no estoy segura sobre el segundo atuendo. ¿Su cintura parece más estrecha, verdad?

Con estos preciosos zapatos no hay dudas ¡son curvy! Perfectos para barbies altas y curvy con los pies planos.

The dress is clearly a curvy size. However, I am not sure about the second outfit. It waist looks more narrow, isn't it?

With these beautiful shoes there are not doubts. They are curvy! Perfect for flat-feet tall and curvy barbies.

El último pack tiene un estilo informal. Incluye unas gafas de sol violetas, unos botines negros, un top con mangas largas, unos shorts rosas, un chaleco vaquero y unos leggins negros estampados.

The last pack has a casual style. It includes a violet sun glasses, a black booties pair, a top with long sleeves, pink shorts, a denim vest and leggings.

El top del primer outfit parece claramente para muñecas curvy, pero ¿qué piensas sobre el chaleco? ¿Es talla curvy? ¿Y los shorts? Estoy algo confusa, porque los zapatos incluidos en este pack de modas son para barbies con los pies normales y de puntillas. De todos modos, este pack me gusta mucho.

En serio, Mattel ha mezclado tallas. Pero esto ya ha sucedido en modas de 2015. He aquí el primer top para curvy que he visto a la venta: 

The top from first outfit seems clearly to curvy dolls, but what do you think about the vest? It is curvy size? And those shorts? I'm somewhat confused because the shoes included in this fashion pack are for barbies with regular tiptoes feet. Anyway, I like this pack very much.

In serious, Mattel has mixed sizes. But this already has happened in 2015 fashion packs. I have here the first top for curvy that I've seen on sale:

Se trata del top amarillo con el sello de la reina, o princesa. Los pantalones rosas también están incluidos en el mismo pack, junto con unos zapatos negros y un vestido talla original que no muestro aquí porque no es relevante (perdón, en su momento no hice su revisión por pereza y falta de tiempo). La clave está en el top, que teóricamente está diseñado para combinarlo con estos pantalones vaqueros rosas. Pero veamos:

Pantalones dennim rosas: talla original

Aclaración: el top del sello es compatible con las barbies con cuerpo original, pero claramente no es su talla (es amplio). Y la verdad, yo estoy encantada con esta agradable sorpresa.

¡Qué lío, verdad? Para no llevarse sustos lo mejor es observar bien el ancho de las prendas y la longitud de la suela de los zapatos. Si son más largos que altos son para curvy, si son más altos que largos son zapatos clásicos.

Y hasta aquí la comparativa de los nuevos packs de modas que recién están llegando a las jugueterías.  ¿Cuáles son tus favoritos? Yo por mi parte necesito aclarar mis ideas antes de decidirme, pues esta vez he sido incapaz de elegir... ¡y no quiero perderlos!

It's the yellow top with the stamp of the Queen, or Princess. Pink pants are also included in the same pack, together with a pair of black shoes and an original size dress that I don's show here because it is not relevant (sorry, at the time I did not made its review for laziness and lack of time). The top is the key, which is theoretically designed to match these pink pants. But let's see:

Top: curvy size

Pants: original size

Clarification: the top is compatible with the original body barbies, but clearly not is its size (is wider). And the truth, I am delighted with this pleasant surprise.

What mess, really?! To be sure it is important to observe well the clothing width and the length of the  shoes sole. Tiptoes curvy shoes are longer than taller, classical shoes are taller than longer.

And until here new fashion packs comparative. They are coming to the toy stores just now. What are your favorite? I need clarify my ideas before decide me, because this time I have been unable to choose... and not want to lose them!
